Philips is one of the most popular and affordable home appliance brands. They take the people-centric approach with innovation to all their products. The same applies to clothes ironing, and packing in a wide range of innovative features into the range.

The product is moderately priced and for this price tag, it does its job good. The buying guide suggests that water leakage might happen if the iron is not heated properly. So, you need to heat it a bit before using it. Also, the manual suggests that the knob must also be in the ‘No steam’ potion while not using the product. Also, I suggest you not fill the tub, and leave some gaps to prevent leakage.

I also measured the amount and rate of steam produced by the product; you get various heat setting options according to the type of fabric option. The company also offers free home service for their customers.

It was a bit tough for me to decide between Philips GC 1905 and Philips EasySpeed Plus steam iron. Both have more or less the same features except the wattage and the soleplate. I find that the GC1905 works great and it is handy as well.

INALSA Steam Iron can heat up fast in just a minute and it scores second in our best steam iron for home use test. You can count on this on your list to get your garments crease-free. Comes with self-cleaning steam vents and an LED and temperature indicator. What I loved the most was the Anti-calc feature and the self-clean feature. A mid-range priced iron that includes all features and the setting of a high-end model.

INALSA Self Cleaning Steam Iron

I Dint compare this model with the other ones of the same brand as I found the Onyx has all the features for this price tag. You are also getting 2000w from the same model. But I prefer the 2200-watt iron from the house of INALSA. The manufacturer provides two years but does not include a free service.

One reviewer said “Being a professional launderer, I love the product and it’s one of the fastest heating steam irons” I felt the same and the easy-to-read settings attracted me a lot.

Bajaj is one of the most popular iron brands in India and this one is no exception. In the mid-range Bajaj offers decent results; they also deal with dry irons to heavyweight steam irons. An extra design feature provides an added textured handle for grip and comfort.

I compared the Bajaj Majesty MX30 to this but found the Bajaj MX35N effective. Also, the MX30 does not have a 360-degree swivel cord or a large water tank. But if you are looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the MX35N, then you can go for the Majesty model. It is suitable for beginners and designed for hassle-free and convenient use. You can also use this as a dry iron.

Overall, the product is trendy and the performer looks super attractive with a black and mauve-pink outer body. The product produced more long-lasting steam than other brands. I appreciate the vertical ironing features suitable for hanging clothes.

What made me choose this is the trendy look and features. The result was exceptional and the body is highly durable with a sleek and trendy look. If you are looking for optimal results and exceptional quality, then I strongly suggest the Black+Decker BXIR2202IN.

I also admired the variable temperature and steam control feature which includes a different temperature setting. While these are also available in other brands, the dial takes the experience to the next level. It comes in a sleek grey and red feature. The transparent water tank makes it easy to see when it needs a refill.

If you are looking for the best steam iron for home use with a long cable then you will have to go with the rest of the brands mentioned. As the iron comes with a very short cable which interrupts the ironing.

You may be familiar with the brand Havells. This steam iron smoothens tough–to–iron clothes neatly and includes a powerful steam burst technology. It is comfortable to hold and use and once you have turned the temperature control dial, the light displays. The water chamber is huge and easy to fill. I found the non-stick-coated soleplate glides easily across all fabrics.

It was a bit tough for me to decide between the Havells I Tech and the Fabio model. What made me include Fabio in this list is the affordability and lightweight. The Havells I Tech weighs more than 1 kg. I also loved the basic outer body and features of the high-end models. This steam iron is best suited for beginners, offers excellent grip, and irons out the creases in a jiffy.

You need to heat the iron before use to prevent leakage, while this case happens in all steam irons. I felt that this one took a little longer than the other one, but once it picks up steam, it’s good to go.

Use this steam iron from Panasonic to get out those pesky creases. Looks beautiful in an orange outer body case and does its job well. I loved the advanced soleplate which comes with titanium coating. While most of the steam iron brands offer non-stick, this one stood out which also made me pick this to review.

Not a highly rated product but I felt that the product includes all the features of a steam iron for under 2000 INR. It is high maintenance-free and reduces the clogging of the steam vents. I did not compare this model with the rest of the Panasonic brands as I thought this might be a too-long process.

Comes in a neatly packaged box with an instruction manual and warranty card. The detailing of white and orange looks elegant. Reviewing this product did not take much time for me as the product has minimal options. Just the dial and the steam function. A great product for absolute beginners as well. If you are trying to explore steam iron then choose this before investing in the high–end ones.

Conclusion:-

Getting the ironing done must not be a task to avoid, I have listed some basic and advanced clothes ironing. The list includes a variety of intuitive features that suit any budget. Some key considerations when buying an iron would be friendliness with its water tank capacity and the cord length. Also, durability plays a vital role so as soleplate design. These irons are rigorously tested for durability and safety.
